He has been a finalist for the Cider Press Review Book Award, the Gerald Cable Book Award, the Sandy Crimmins Prize in Poetry, and the Ron Rash Award in Poetry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #9eb5d4;\">Individual poems have appeared in <em>The\u00a0<\/em><em>Hollins Critic,<\/em>\u00a0<em>Nashville<\/em> <em>Review<\/em>, <em>Paterson Literary<\/em> <em>Review<\/em>, <em>Pembroke<\/em> <em>Magazine<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">,<\/span> <\/em><em>Poet\u00a0Lore<\/em>,<em> Poetry East, S<\/em><em>alamander<\/em>,<em>\u00a0Spoon River Poetry Revie<\/em>w, <em>Sugar House Review<\/em>, <em>Tar River<\/em> <em>Poetry<\/em>, <em>Valparaiso Poetry Review<\/em>, Verse Daily, and others. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #9eb5d4;\">Fillman earned his Ph.D. at Lehigh University, where he was a Mountaintop Creative Writing Fellow.
